Composite repair for penetration defects on tanks
TANKiT® has been designed on the basis of REINFORCEKiT® 4D technology for repairing through holes in tanks and separators.
Online installation allows to extend the service lifetime of your equipment until its replacement.
The product contains the following components: metal plate, specific fillers and 3X resins, several layers of Kevlar® fabric; it ensures effective composite repairs of tanks.
PURPOSE:
- Repair of tank defects caused by external and internal corrosion
- Prevention of tank wall destruction due to corrosion
- Repair of penetration defects: up to 100x100 mm in 6 to 20-meter tanks
APPLICATIONS:
- Onshore and offshore (above water);
- Repair of tanks up to 20 m in diameter;
- Ambient temperature: +10°C - +60°C;
- Maximum pressure: up to 2 bar for tanks to 6 m (penetration defects to 100 x 100 mm); up to 1.4 bar for tanks to 20 m (penetration defects to 100 x 100 mm).
